
Rev. Dr. Albert Moses, III
Senior Pastor
Rev. Dr. Albert Moses, III was born on March 21, 1986, to the union of Pastor Albert Moses, Jr. and First Lady Charlotte Marie Moses. His early footsteps with God began when he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at a very young age. In his formative years, he was blessed to have a family of strong Christian heritage, positive influence, support, and vast achievement. Licensed to preach the Gospel July 27, 2003, 10 months prior to graduating from high school, he set out to accomplish his academic goals while fulfilling his call to ministry. Upon graduation, he moved back to his hometown of Port Arthur, Texas to be closely connected, mentored, and trained under the ministry leadership of his father, Pastor Albert Moses, Jr. at the Christian Faith Missionary Baptist Church. On May 29, 2011, Reverend Albert Moses, III was ordained to the position of Assistant Pastor.
Pastor Moses is a proud graduate of Wiley (College)University of Marshall, Texas, a historically black college and faith-based institution, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree on May 9, 2009. With his desire for higher education, he attended Baylor University’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary of Waco, Texas and earned a Master of Divinity degree with a concentration in Ministry Leadership on August 14, 2015. While pastoring full-time, in 2018 Moses began matriculation through the Doctor of Ministry program at the United Theological Seminary of Dayton, Ohio. On May 22, 2021, the Doctor of Ministry degree was earned and conferred to Pastor Moses.
Dr. Moses began his pastoral ministry at the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Crockett, Texas where he served faithfully for 7 years. He also served as the second vice president in the congress for Christian education in the Palestine Bowen Missionary Baptist District Association. Most notably on two separate occasions he has been awarded the key to the city of his hometown in Port Arthur, Texas. In his present ministry, Rev. Dr. Albert Moses, III is the Pastor-Elect of the Historic New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee, founded in 1885. He is the 6th pastor in the entire church’s history.
The Lord has blessed the preaching and pastoral ministry of Dr. Moses with a passion and anointing to serve this present age and to lead God’s people. Presently, Albert Moses, III Ministries, LLC celebrates 21 years of preaching and 7 years of pastoral ministry. This ministry has been blessed with a plethora of opportunities to minister in various cities and states, provide premarital counseling to couples, officiate marriages, coordinate and provide a variety of services and needs to local and surrounding communities. The Lord has also blessed Moses to serve as a certified educator in the state of Texas. He has served by educating students in the Waco, Port Arthur, and Bryan Independent School Districts. Pastor Albert Moses, III is a proud member of the greatest fraternity in the world, the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated!
In all his achievements, Moses is most proud to be the husband of 8 years to his beautiful and dashing wife, Mrs. Raven D. Moses and they have two handsome sons, Master Albert “Ivy” Moses, IV & Master Asa James Moses. The Lord has been gracious to His servant. Most importantly and above of all these things, he is a born-again servant of Jesus Christ!
